stakeholder meeting June 25, 2025: Business as usual with people and society in mind

On Wednesday, June 25, Biesmans Group brought together about fifty stakeholders at its headquarters in Genk. The annual meeting provided space for reflection and a look to the future. A powerful moment of connection between everyone involved in the growth and future of our family group.

The day opened with a welcome address by Yves Biesmans, in the presence of founder Jean Biesmans and fellow shareholder Filip Biesmans. His introduction set the tone for a program that connected content, vision and social commitment.

Following this, Kris Bloemen (CEO Tectum Group), Chris Venken (CEO RoofYou Belgium) and Rudy Evens (Executive Chairman Biesmans Group) took the floor. They gave a transparent update on the past period and highlighted the strategic priorities for the coming years. Their contribution underlined confidence in sustainable growth, supported leadership and future-oriented entrepreneurship.

Afterwards, geopolitical analyst Hans Diels delivered an incisive lecture on the changing international context and its impact on the economy and business. His insights offered additional interpretation of the world in which Biesmans Group operates and makes decisions today.

After the content part, discussions continued over a refined lunch provided by star chef Koen Somers of De Kristalijn in Genk. In a casual setting, space for dialogue and networking was created.

As always, social added value was created this year. All proceeds from the event go to Biesmans Group's charities. This year, these are three organizations dedicated to helping those who need extra support:

  • Wings for Life, which supports scientific research to cure spinal cord injuries;
  • The Knipperkot, which guides young people toward independence and employment;
  • The Warmest Week, focusing this year on people who are invisibly ill.

Biesmans Group thanks all attendees for their trust, commitment and active contribution. This stakeholder meeting reaffirmed the importance of long-term relationships, shared values and entrepreneurship with an eye for people and society.
