Roof As A Service: Biesmans Group Prestigious Award from the Circular Buildings Coalition

Biesmans Group received special recognition for its innovative "Roof As A Service" project. The project was selected as one of six winning initiatives by the Circular Buildings Coalition (CBC), out of an impressive total of 90 submissions from across Europe. This award confirms our role as a pioneer in sustainable and innovative solutions within the construction sector.

What is Roof As A Service?

Roof As A Service is a circular, zero-CAPEX model for flat roofs. Instead of a large upfront investment, customers pay a fixed monthly fee for a flat roof that is guaranteed to be waterproof and insulated. Ownership and maintenance remain with us. This model encourages the use of sustainable, reusable materials and reduces end-of-life waste.

Following several product innovations, Biesmans Group is Biesmans Group also focusing on business model innovation. Roof As A Service breaks with traditional practices in the construction industry and prioritizes long-term performance over one-time sales. Financial support for further development

‍Asa winning project, Roof As A Service will receive a premium of €70,000. With this financial support, we can further develop the concept, test it in practice and prepare it for the market. Our goal is to roll out the model as the new standard for flat roofs, in Belgium and beyond.
