Biesmans Group raises €15,000 for charity together with employees

Social engagement is deeply embedded in the DNA of Biesmans Group. Every year, the group, together with its employees and subsidiaries Tectum Group and Roofyou (BE & NL), supports three charities selected by the employees themselves. This tradition was continued with conviction again this year.
Thanks to numerous initiatives supported by colleagues from all corners of the organization, €5,000 was raised for each charity, amounting to a total of €15,000.
Commitment that connects
Throughout the year, employees took the initiative to organize creative and bonding activities. These ranged from baking croque monsieurs and selling bags of sweets to homemade blankets, BBQ evenings, a Christmas fair with games of chance, and a stylish Italian evening with refined snacks and quality wines for staff and suppliers.
These actions not only demonstrate the commitment of our employees, but also strengthen the bond within the group. Working together to make a difference for others brings people closer together and creates a positive dynamic across companies and teams.
Charities chosen by employees
What makes this annual campaign special is the broad involvement. All Biesmans Group employees are given the opportunity to propose a charity. Each year, three organizations are selected from these proposals to receive the group's support.
The following charities were chosen for 2025:
Wings for Life
Submitted by Youri Moison (Mawipex NL)
Wings for Life is an international non-profit organization that funds research into a cure for spinal cord injuries. Since 2004, the foundation has been supporting promising research projects and clinical studies worldwide in collaboration with leading scientists and medical institutions.
Het Knipperkot
Submitted by Pascale Roelandt (Tectum Group)
Het Knipperkot offers a safe and stimulating environment for young adults who are trying to find their place in society and on the labor market. The organization focuses on young people between the ages of 15 and 18 who are dealing with school pressure, relationship challenges, or mental health issues.

De Warmste Week
Submitted by Lauren Warson (Roofyou Belgium)
De Warmste Week brings people together around solidarity and social engagement. Because the event took place in Genk this year, it was also selected as a charity by Biesmans Group. The check was presented in person during the event, a moment that was also captured on video.
An annual tradition with impact
The charity campaign has become a fixture within the Biesmans Group. It reflects not only the group's social commitment, but above all the power of cooperation and the dedication of its employees.
Biesmans Group would like to thank all colleagues who organized campaigns, participated, or contributed in any other way. Together, we make a difference every year.
