Growth with a focus on impact
At Biesmans Group, we build businesses that combine economic growth with a commitment to their impact on the environment, people, and society.

From impact measurement and innovation to the efficient use of energy and resources
Within Biesmans Group, our environmental strategy is built on four clear pillars: better assessing our impact, developing more sustainable solutions, using energy and raw materials more efficiently, and gradually building a stronger framework at the group level.
1
Measuring and reducing our impact
A well-thought-out sustainability policy starts with insight. Within the group, our climate impact is systematically assessed, including through CO₂ measurements (Scopes 1, 2, and 3).
These measurements form the basis for targeted actions and improvements. By regularly evaluating and making adjustments, we are working step by step to reduce our ecological footprint.
Transparency is key, with clear reporting in accordance with applicable guidelines.

2
Sustainable solutions and innovation
Through our companies, we actively contribute to more sustainable solutions within the construction sector and beyond.
A concrete example of this is the development of circular systems and materials that enable reuse and extend the lifespan of applications. Innovations such as the BossCover System demonstrate how sustainability and performance can go hand in hand.
In addition, we focus on offering sustainable alternatives and supporting customers and partners in making informed choices. We reinforce this through initiatives such as Life Cycle Assessment, in which we analyze the entire life cycle of materials and systems. This allows us to make a well-founded assessment of their impact on the environment and the surrounding area and better guide customers toward more sustainable choices.

3
Efficient use of energy and resources
Within our own operations, we are also committed to using energy and raw materials more efficiently.
This translates into investments in renewable energy, energy-efficient renovations of our buildings, and making our vehicle fleet more sustainable. In addition, we are working to optimize logistics processes and reduce material loss and waste streams.
Through these initiatives, we are building an organization that is not only high-performing but also future-proof.

4
A structured sustainability policy
Biesmans Group to further develop a well-founded and forward-looking sustainability framework at the group level.
A key step in this process is the implementation of a dual materiality analysis. Through a broad stakeholder survey, we identify the themes most relevant to our activities and our environment.
Based on this, clear priorities and objectives are established. The goal is to publish a sustainability report by the end of 2026 in line with the European VSME guidelines.
