Production Team Leader

In our production workshop in Genk, EPDM solutions are cut to size, roof and facade materials are sawn according to technical plans, and zinc and other metals are folded for custom finishing.

To strengthen our team and support our continued growth, we are looking for a production team leader who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the production team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organization, and bringing structure to the team. You will ensure that production orders are carried out correctly, safely, and on time, with a constant focus on quality, efficiency, and collaboration. You will be present on the work floor and act as the central link between the customer, production, and logistics.

A selection of your tasks:

• You draw up the production schedule and adjust it if there are changes or urgent orders (sawing, bending, EPDM cutting). You determine the priorities based on deadlines, capacity, and material availability.
• You will manage and lead a production team of five employees. This involves assigning tasks, following up on them, and providing support where necessary. You will also ensure that new employees feel welcome.
• You ensure that quality standards are met, while always monitoring safety, order, and tidiness (5S), which are crucial in a production environment. You identify any deviations or issues and try to resolve them.
• You monitor the availability of materials and tools and maintain contact with external technicians during maintenance and malfunctions.
• You consider improvement processes and innovative working methods and report on progress, bottlenecks, and points for attention.
