Sustainability & Communication Coordinator

As Sustainability & Communication Coordinator, you will coordinate our sustainability initiatives and ensure that our efforts not only make an impact, but more importantly are heard and seen, both inside and outside the organization.

Your duties:

• Preparing our organization for mandatory CSRD reporting starting in 2026 in collaboration with our external expert.
• Establish a roadmap to meet CSRD reporting requirements.

• Collect, analyze and report relevant sustainability data.

• Coordinate the ongoing actions of the various companies within Biesmans Group.

• Collaborate with various internal departments to embed sustainability in all business areas.
• Through clear communication, create internal awareness around sustainability and everyone's impact on it.

• Report on the progress and impact of our various sustainability initiatives.
• Provide both internal and external communication around sustainability through various communication channels (social media, stakeholder events, press releases, annual report,...)

Do you recognize yourself in the following points?

• You have a higher degree in an economic field, majoring in Marketing or Communications (or equivalent through experience).
• You are numerically strong and have analytical thinking skills.
• Initial experience in business is desired. You do not need any prior knowledge within CSRD, but are interested in becoming familiar with it.

• The most current software tools hold no secrets for you - you use them with ease.
• You are a strong communicator: you have excellent communication skills and you know better than anyone how to convey technical information in an understandable way.
• Social media are no stranger to you.
• You are a pragmatic problem solver who switches quickly.
• You have a keen eye for quality and a nose for details.
• Strong in project management: you effortlessly keep multiple balls in the air from a helicopter view.
