To further expand our precast division, we are looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager Prefab. Someone with a nose for commercial opportunities, a heart for technology and a head full of ideas to put our roof and wall solutions for Prefab customers on the map.

As Business Development Manager Prefab, you will help build the future of RoofYou. You detect new opportunities in the market and translate them into concrete solutions for our customers. Not just selling products, but helping think about how our customers build precast - and how we can make them stronger in it.

You are a bridge builder: you bring people together, listen, think along, and ensure that every contact is a step forward towards sustainable cooperation. You get the space to develop your own sales plan and go for resultWithout losing sight of our family culture.

Your responsibilities

  • You will map the precast market, identify strategic players and proactively contact prospects.
  • You detect growth opportunities, analyze trends and developments within the construction industry, and collaborate on long-term strategy.
  • You will approach new clients and actively work to expand our client portfolio.
  • You will translate our offer into technical solutions tailored to the precast customer: not selling products, but thinking strategically about product solutions.
  • You will build and maintain lasting relationships with purchasing managers, engineers and project managers.
  • You will work with internal colleagues to ensure smooth execution of sold projects (delivery, conditions, forecasting...).
  • You will represent RoofYou at trade shows, events, company visits and info evenings.
  • You make and defend offers, and negotiate with the necessary conviction and technical baggage.
  • You will build a strong network within the precast industry, including policy makers and external experts


Your profile

  • You have a technical background in the construction industry (education or practical experience).
  • You have at least 7 years of commercial experience.
  • You are a born networker and negotiator with strategic insight.
  • You think solution-oriented and innovatively, and take spontaneous initiative.
  • You are analytically strong, with a good eye for market trends and numbers.
  • You can communicate fluently and know how to convey technical value clearly.
  • You speak fluent Dutch, and preferably good French.
  • You have a good digital knowledge (ERP, CRM, BI...).
