Business Development Manager (Flanders)

For the further expansion of our sales market and the development of new growth and business opportunities, we are looking for a Business Development Manager in Flanders.


Your duties:

  • You analyze the market, results, solutions,... and continuously recognize market needs and opportunities
  • You respond to current and future market needs
  • You further develop new concepts regarding services, procedures,... and realize improvements to existing concepts or internal procedures with the aim of expanding our market segment or tapping into new market segments
  • You liaise with external stakeholders (policy makers, industry and/or government experts, new customers, suppliers,...)
  • You represent Tectum Group at company and sector related events. During these events you actively provide information about new techniques, methodologies, materials and business opportunities.
  • You will gather knowledge about customers, products and competitors to enable Tectum Group to respond to current and future market needs


Do you recognize yourself in the following points?

  • You have a higher degree preferably an economic or technical direction
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the industry and have technical knowledge of roof & facade
  • You work fluently with Office 365 and have a good knowledge of Dutch, French and English
  • You have experience in an ERP package and/or are willing to learn more about our ERP package Build
  • You are a pragmatic problem solver who is quick to change gears
  • You are a born negotiator
  • You have strong commercial acumen
  • You are a fluent communicator: you have excellent communication skills and you know better than anyone how to convey information in an understandable way.
  • Strong in project management: you effortlessly keep several balls in the air and plan and organize your activities with attention to quality and detail

Who are you working with?

  • You will work closely with our Commercial Director, also your supervisor, and our Operations Director
  • You will be in direct contact with our various branches and their Business Unit Managers and Account Managers
  • You will liaise with external partners: public services, syndics, facility managers, buyers, suppliers, subcontractors... In short, a whole range of stakeholders!
