What will you do:

  • You negotiate with suppliers to purchase goods (on a project basis) on the best terms, taking into account internal needs, contracts, procedures and planning
  • You will work with suppliers to develop SLAs based on the needs of our internal customers
  • You will ensure a good relationship with our suppliers based on standard SRM principles and manage the purchasing process from A to Z
  • You ensure optimal inventory through the inventory management system
  • You place orders and handle administrative processing to ensure customers receive the requested goods in a timely manner. You monitor logistics flow and supplier performance based on desired delivery time and delivery reliability
  • You handle necessary communication regarding changes in prices and items
  • In collaboration with colleagues, you manage the supplier and article database
  • In consultation with suppliers, products are enriched for the benefit of the central product database that is used for various purposes


Who are you?

  • Strong communicator with power of persuasion - You can negotiate and know how to switch smoothly between different interlocutors. You communicate fluently in Dutch and French.
  • Solution-oriented - You think in solutions and make every effort to help the customer as quickly as possible, including delivery problems.
  • Cost-conscious - You optimize orders based on price, volume and logistical benefits
  • Technical interest - You have an affinity for technical products and building solutions.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a purchasing department


Who are you working with?

  • Team Purchasing: you will be part of a team of 8 colleagues
  • The Account Managers, Branch Managers and Branch Assistant of our CPE branches
  • The colleagues from Transportation, Logistics and Production
